Which poll or polls are you using for this map?
Looks good, thanks.
I found it on CNN I think, a month ago... its not updated...
Is there any way you can add to the map the poll (and date) you are getting the data from? I am setting up a site for our local Obama group in the Silicon Valley, and the sourcing of the data would be a big question for our users...
Thanks for the response!
I have another map to add your own poll data: http://mapmash.googlepages.com/electionmap_poll.html
There a google spreadsheet which you can update the poll, and it gets loaded:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pTkDbhzqHZRWWFviVBZptVA
I can give you access if you want to update it with your data.
Your electoral map is NOT up to date, check out the current news organizations. How often is it updated? - 10/3/08.
The pictures you selected for each candidate are interesting as is the fact that you have an "Obama Map" tracking Obama's campaign but not one for McCain. Hmmm...I wonder who MapMash and Google are supporting? Not much different than the rest of the mainstream media I guess.
FYI mapmash's creator is a Obama supporter, and is not associated with google, anybody can create a mashup and submit to google. :)
hey...
Lighten up on McCains photoshop/ looking all angry!
Thats the way it was intended to be...for fun, if Obama is winning then McCain face becomes angry and if McCain is winning then Obama face becomes angry.... try changing the electoral map to McCain win by clicking on states....:)
I would actually enjoy using Mapmash if it wasn't so clearly biased - unfortunately I have to agree with the other blog response that likened this to the mainstream media. This is clearly biased-I'm sure the unflattering picture was intentionally designed to pop up first. It is unfortunate Google doesn't have the wisdom to use something more neutral.
emm.. love this ..
